Can I display my model however I like across my site?
You are free to share your model wherever and to whoever you like, but please note that projects built on non-enterprise accounts will include some minimal Swyvl branding.
Which platforms can include my 3D viewer?
The 3D viewers you build on Swyvl can be deployed anywhere across the internet, as long as you have a method of incorporating the Iframe code. Majority of the leading e-commerce hosting sites can display our viewer. If you find a situation where you cannot display your project, feel free to reach out and request a solution on our email [email protected]
Can I do 3D modelling in Swyvl?
No, Swyvl is focused on orchestrating a 3D scene and best displaying already existing models to be deployed across the web.

How do I share my project before being implemented on the web?
Want to share your work or progress with your team? If you navigate into the settings tab within a project you can access the QR code for that project. Additionally a unique URL is also generated here to share as you please.
Can all devices view my projects built on Swyvl?
Apple
As general guidance, in order to use AR on Apple devices, users must have an;
- Recent version of Chrome or Safari
- iOS 12+ with ARKit
- iPhone SE, 6s and above or iPad 5th generation and above. To view a full list of supported devices click here
Android
To use AR on Android devices, users must have an;
- Recent version of Chrome or Samsung internet
- ARCore supported device running Android 7.0 Nougat (API Level 24) or later. To view a full-list of supported devices click here.
- An up to date (recent) version of Google Play Services AR. (This service is automatically installed and kept up to date on the vast majority of ARCore supported devices.
I have an item that I want to display on a wall rather than the floor, can I do that?
Yes! In the builder you can select if you wish the AR item to be placed on the floor or wall.
I am interested in keeping track of my projects views or insights, can I?
*(Check)We will soon include a fully fledged insights tab for each project. You can also plug in a Google Analytics ID through the settings tab within Swyvl.
How do I get 3D files of my products?
The most common answer would be to use 3D modelling software (such asā¦) which would also yield the most accurate and controllable results. But this takes time, so a short term effective solution is to utilise a 3D scanning application, such as Polycam.
Alternatively you can purchase 3D models from sites such as Turbosquid to use in your project.
What file formats can I upload to Swyvl?
Currently Swyvl allows for the upload of GLB, GLTF, and USDZ files. You can also upload your own HDRI environment maps to display along with the 3D model.
What is a GLB file?
A .glTF is a 3D file format, it is an all-purpose transmission format, which Google recognises as their format of choice for Augmented Reality. A .glb is a binary container format of glTF, it packages all the textures and mesh data into one file.
How do I store my files and projects?
Once anything is uploaded or created in Swyvl it is stored on the platform securely, until you choose to delete it. As Swyvl grows as a content management platform things will change and improve, but currently there are two dedicated spaces for your āProjectsā and āFilesā from where you can āBuild, Share, and Controlā all of your assets seamlessly.
Is there a Swyvl app?
Swyvl is completely web based and as such prides itself on being completely app free. āNo coding, no complicated steps and no mobile app requiredā as displayed on our home page. We found the need to download an app heavily restricting and off-putting for many, you want as many eyes as possible on your product and as such a web-based solution best promotes this.
However if you wish to deploy your Swyvl projects within your own mobile application you can still do so easily.
Does Swyvl have a free trial?
Swyvl offers a free account tier for anyone that wishes to experiment with our platform. You will gain full access with the limit being one (1) singular project and a storage limit of 200MB. No credit card required.
We encourage anybody from professionals to hobbyists to experience the ease of deploying a fully adjustable AR enabled 3D viewer onto their website.
What do I gain access to on a paid subscription?
All paid accounts regardless of tier (regular or enterprise) gain access to unlimited projects, compared to the singular 1 within a free account. Allowing you to display as many 3D models as you like across the web, whether it be for business or fun.
When should I consider an āEnterpriseā account?
Pricing for enterprise accounts will vary for different applicants, as some cases may require a more tailored solution. You gain access to custom projects, allowing for maximum customisation and controllable personal branding, allowing for a seamless integration onto your website.
How do I delete account? (Move down later)
To delete an account, navigate to the bottom of the āAccountā page. From here you can manage your subscription.

How does billing work?
You will be charged on a monthly basis. Prices are advertised in USD and thus, pricing may vary by location and will be based on the billing information you provide us at the time of purchase.
Can I request a refund on cancellation?
You can cancel your subscription at any time, however if you do so you will not receive a refund or credit for any amounts that have already been billed.
